Born and bred in Napoli, Dino and Davide created “Postcard from Napoli” to share their knowledge and passion for food with the Australian people.
Davide originates from generations of Pizzaioli. He has graduated with “Gambero Rosso”, Association Verace Pizza Napoletana and “Arti Bianche”. His passion and knowledge makes everything he cooks a special occasion to share his love for food. A traditional, proud and authentic Neapolitan pizza chef so please don’t be upset if he won’t put pineapple on your pizza 🙂
Dino, a very passionate and proud Neapolitan man, after spending many years travelling the world has settled in Australia. His vision is to export “Neapoletan-ity” which is not just about authentic food, it is also about recreating the atmosphere of the little streets in Napoli that are full of life and history, and where the friendly and charismatic Neapolitan people always have time for a smile and a story.
Our mission is to let you feel as if you are in a little restaurant down in Napoli, where the atmosphere is vibrant, the food is beautiful and everything is authentic.
Our authentic Neapolitan Pizzas are made following Neapolitan culture and tradition, beginning with our wood fire oven, traditionally crafted by Stefano Ferrara in Napoli and shipped to Australia. Our dough is raised for at least 24 hours at room temperature, hand stretched and baked for 60 to 90 seconds at 450 degrees.
Topped with our special pizza sauce – made from the world famous San Marzano tomatoes, which grow on the fertile soil of Mount Vesuvius, the active volcano of Napoli. The unique taste of San Marzano Tomatoes is essential to making our Pizza characteristic & delicious.
The Buffalo Mozzarella, with its texture and flavour makes your taste buds go to heaven; Extra Virgin Olive Oil poured traditionally from a copper oil jug to keep its beautiful essence and the fresh Basil are the base for any delicious pizza.
Our cooking is all about bold flavour, made with few ingredients, chosen by the best available in nature mixed with thousands of years of traditional Neapolitan cuisine.
Welcome to Napoli
